saturday, september 14—The Film Cafe at Grace Bible Church, 150 Sunset Road, Pompton Plains, NJ. The 4th Annual Sonshine Festival sponsored by The Film Cafe starts at 2 PM. The festival will feature the band Divine Intervention, along with musical artists Chris Durante and Dane Lowrie. Following the three concerts, at approximately 6:30 PM, Jim Winder will present "The Hard But Right Way - A Pilgrim's Journey" - a dramatic telling of John Bunyan's famous Pilgrim's Progress with DVD video and songs from the companion music CD. In between each act, there will be testimonies shared by people whose lives have been profoundly changed by Jesus Christ. Volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, other games and an outdoor barbecue will be held throughout the day. At 8 PM, the festival will conclude with this month's featured presentation, "The Crossing," from an independent Australian Christian film production company, Dark Sun Pictures. Admission is free. The Sonshine Festival is a community outreach and fellowship that provides a great opportunity for many to hear about the love of Christ through the audio and visual arts.
