CHRISTOPHER WRIGHT LIVE CD RECORDING SATURDAY, March 1, 2003

After three years, I am OVERJOYED to announce that a new CD of worship music and concert material will be recorded THIS SATURDAY NIGHT!!!! That's right, this Saturday, 7pm, March 1st- we will be recording a LIVE concert, and ALL OF YOU ARE INVITED to come and be a part of the project!!!!!!!! :-)

My dear friends at Evangel Church in Scotch Plains, NJ, have graciously paid a professional recording and sound engineering company to come and record a concert at their church this Saturday night at 7pm! I have been rehearsing with a band of gifted musicians and lead worshipers (including my daughter Lauren!), and look forward to a time of powerful and intimate worship, as well as just plain fun together in the Lord with you.

If this ministry has been a blessing, and if it's at all possible for your family and friends at church, would you please consider caravaning to Scotch Plains for this event? I'm so excited for what the Lord has in store for us- not just that night, but what He intends to do with the music once it is recorded and gets circulated. Many of you have asked for a recording of the song I wrote for Amanda- as well as her testimony- to give to folks you know who may be going through severe trial. A live CD is all the more personal, and I am trusting the Sovereign One to use this and many of the other songs to minister healing and comfort to those who are hurting.

The event is free (a love offering will be taken to help offset some of the cost). We'll have tables in the lobby for pre-ordering the CD at a reduced cost. This is important because the proceeds will help pay for the duplication (actual CD, mastering & jacket). My Father's World and Pocketful of Nails CDs will also be available in the lobby at specially reduced pricing as well (everything 10 bucks!).

The church's sanctuary holds over 1000 folks, and being a nobody- it's more than a little daunting to expect something like that. But we would be so honored to have you there and the recording will sound that much better with YOUR voice in it! :-) Having the band with me will allow us to go from intimate acoustic songs to full blown, rocked out praise, so it should be a special night. From the South:

GARDEN STATE PARKWAY-
Take Exit 135, 3/4 way around circle to Central Ave (Target/Marshalls on left)
Head towards Westfield approx 2 miles. Make a left onto South Ave (before RR underpass). After about 3 miles, make a left onto Terrill Rd (Exxon). Church about 1.5 miles on left.

NJ TURNPIKE-
Take Exit 11 onto the Garden State Parkway Northbound and follow directions above.
            
From the North:

GARDEN STATE PARKWAY-
Take Exit 140A (second exit after Union Toll Plaza). Take Route 22 West for about 8-10 miles to Terrill Road (Sears on left). Exit to the right and jug handle onto Terrill Rd. Church is about 3 miles on left.

NJ TURNPIKE-
Take Exit 14 (Newark Airport) onto 78 West to Garden State Parkway Southbound and follow directions above.

FROM RT. 80 EAST-
Pick up Route 280 East at Troy Hills to Garden State Parkway Southbound and follow directions above.

FROM RT. 46 EAST-
Go to Garden State Parkway Southbound and follow directions above.

From the West:

Take Exit 40 (Watchung/Gillette) onto Hillcrest Road. At stop sign, go right (1/2 way around circle) to Route 531- Sumerset Street. Follow to Route 22 East. Go about a mile to Terrill Road (Sears on right). Turn right onto Terrill Rd and church is 3 miles on the the left.
