OASIS TRI-STATE SINGLES EVENT
7 PM SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 14TH

Doors Open at 6:30 PM

DON’T MISS OUR MOST POPULAR EVENT OF THE YEAR! Valentine’s Day has always drawn our largest crowd. More than 500 singles attended a previous event!
You are invited to join hundreds of Christian singles of all ages, from all walks of life, and from all denominations throughout the tri-state area and beyond for a very special evening featuring music, catered food and fellowship.
Guest speakers Joel and Carol Silberman will focus on the topic "Spiritual and Sexual Intimacy." The Silbermans are licensed Pastoral Counselors and founders of Tenderhearted Ministries. Their ministry specializes in relational issues with the goal of bringing healing to the whole person--spirit, soul and body.
Music will also be an important part of this event. Dynamic contemporary praise and worship will be presented by CLAY POET.
Delicious catered food and a scrumptious dessert assortment will be enjoyed in a cozy cafe. Low lighting and plenty of greenery create the perfect atmosphere for making new friends. There is even a game room!
Singles groups are welcome, but don’t hesitate to come alone. Many singles come by themselves. Our greeters will make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. They will be happy to introduce you to new friends throughout the evening. Remember that most people feel a bit shy at social gatherings, you are no different than anyone else. OASIS has a very warm and friendly atmosphere.
We suggest that you arrive early. Singles from as far away as Pennsylvania, Maryland and Ohio have attended these events. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The event begins promptly at 7 p.m.
If you are tired of the usual singles scene, come out to OASIS and be uplifted and encouraged. OASIS events are Christ-centered with plenty of time for much needed fellowship.

MORE THAN 350 SINGLES ATTEND THESE EVENTS!

Admission is free. A $5 donation is suggested to help defray expenses. Free parking is available in the church parking lot. Directions are below. Saturday, February 14th. Would you like to make new friends before the OASIS event even begins? Then come early and join our volunteers at 5:30 p.m. as we cut cake, help the caterer set-up food in the cafe and finish lots of last minute details. You’ll have fun as you get caught up in the energy and excitement of getting ready to open the doors to hundreds of singles for our most popular event of the year! There is also a prayer team that meets at 6 p.m. in the Library. Would you like to join them? Or you can be a greeter at 6:30 p.m. In order to do that you must arrive at 6:15 p.m. During the fellowship time you may help serve food or be a greeter. The clean-up crew starts at 10:30 p.m. and is usually done by 11:15 or so. They are always looking for more help! If you are interested in any of these volunteer opportunities please e-mail Singles Director Cindy Galdal at: Cindy@CompleteinChrist.com. OASIS also has a team of intercessors that pray privately and individually in their own home. We are always looking for more prayer warriors! There is no travel involved in this aspect of the ministry. You just have to be willing to pray for the OASIS MINISTRY. You can contact Cindy Galdal for suggested prayer requests. If you are interested e-mail her at: Cindy@CompleteinChrist.com. All OASIS events are prayed for at least two months in advance. "Unless the Lord builds the house, the laborers labor in vain."
