OASIS SINGLES VALENTINE’S DINNER
7 PM SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 12th

DON’T MISS OUR MOST POPULAR EVENT OF THE YEAR! Our Valentine’s Event has always drawn our largest crowds. More than 500 singles have attended each year. Due to overwhelming popular demand we have invited back the same speakers and singer we had last year. But that’s not all!! This time the entire event will be in our Cafe. There will be extended fellowship time and the emphasis will be on making new friends. Here is the schedule for the evening:


7 p.m. to 8 p.m. HOT ITALIAN DINNER.
Delicious baked ziti, salad, and bread.
Meet and greet other singles.


8 p.m. to 9 p.m. INTERACTIVE DISCUSSION 
led by Joel and Carol Silberman.
TOPIC: “Tenderhearted-Forgiveness”
The Silberman’s are licensed Pastoral Counselors and founders of Tenderhearted Ministries. Their ministry specializes in relational issues with the goal of bringing healing to the whole person--spirit, soul, and body.

9 p.m. to 11 p.m. DESSERT AND FELLOWSHIP.
A scrumptious dessert assortment, coffee and soda. 
You can fellowship for 2 full hours. You can also spend a little time enjoying board games in our game room.

Cost: $10 per person. Tickets available at the door.

Here’s how you can help out in the OASIS SINGLES Ministry:

Friday, February 11th from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A group of singles get together to help set-up and decorate the Cafe. There is no heavy lifting or moving involved. The game room is also prepared. This is a really fun time of fellowship! Don’t worry if you’re not sure what you can do--we will find something for you that you will enjoy!!! Saturday, February 12th. Would you like to make new friends before the OASIS event even begins? Then come early and join our volunteers at 5 p.m. as we cut cake, help the caterer set-up food in the cafe and finish lots of last minute details. You’ll have fun as you get caught up in the energy and excitement of getting ready to open the doors to hundreds of singles. There is also a prayer team that meets at 5 p.m. in the Library. Would you like to join them? Or you can be a greeter at 6:30 p.m. In order to do that you must arrive at 6:15 p.m. You can also help serve food or be a greeter in the cafe. The clean-up crew starts at 10:30 p.m. and is usually done by 11:15 or so. They are always looking for more help!
