OASIS SINGLES VALENTINE’S DINNER

DON’T MISS OUR MOST POPULAR EVENT OF THE YEAR! Our Valentine’s Event has always drawn our largest crowds. More than 500 singles of all ages attend each year. Due to overwhelming popular demand we have invited back the same speakers and band for the third year. The entire event will be in our cozy Cafe. There will be extended fellowship time and the emphasis will be on making new friends.
Here is the schedule for this very special evening:

7 p.m. to 8 p.m. HOT ITALIAN DINNER.
Catered menu: Penne alla Vodka Sauce, Salad, and Bread.
Meet and greet other singles.
Music by CLAY POET.

8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. WORSHIP AND MESSAGE.
TOPIC: "Be Fruitful and Multiply."
Guest speakers Pastor Joel and Pastor Carol Silberman are licensed Pastoral Counselors and founders of Tenderhearted Ministries. Their ministry specializes in relational issues with the goal of bringing healing to the whole person--spirit, soul, and body.

9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. DESSERT AND FELLOWSHIP.
A scrumptious dessert assortment, coffee and soda. You will have the opportunity to meet every person at this event. OASIS is a very friendly place! Say good-bye to lonely singles events as you say hello to lots of new friends! You can come by yourself or in a group--our greeters will make you feel right at home.

Cost: $12 per person. Tickets available at the door.
Doors open 6:30 p.m. We suggest that you arrive early because of the large crowds.

Free parking.
Attire is casual, but neat.

Here’s how you can help out in the OASIS SINGLES Ministry:
Saturday, January 14th, Singles Brunch at 11 am to 1 p.m. Come out and make some new friends as a group of singles get together to prepare our mailing. All you have to do is fold flyers in half and stick labels on them. This is a great opportunity for fellowship from the moment you arrive until you leave. Admission is free. Please RSVP Cindy@CompleteinChrist.com. Come alone or bring a friend. We have lots of fun!!!

Friday, February 10th from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A group of singles get together to help set-up and decorate the Cafe. There is no heavy lifting or moving involved. The game room is also prepared. This is a really fun time of fellowship! Don’t worry if you’re not sure what you can do--we will find something for you that you will enjoy!!! Saturday, February 11th. Would you like to make new friends before the OASIS event even begins? Then come early and join our volunteers at 5 p.m. as we all join in for a time of prayer and then help set up the food in the cafe. You’ll have fun as you get caught up in the energy and excitement of getting ready to open the doors to hundreds of singles. Here are some ideas of how you can help at the event: You can be a greeter at 6:30 p.m. In order to do that you must arrive by 6 p.m. You can also help serve food or be a greeter in the cafe.

OASIS AFTER PARTY. Join our clean up crew for lots of fun as we fellowship and put everything away! The clean-up crew starts at 10 p.m. and is usually done by 11:15 or so. They are always looking for more help! We are always looking for more prayer warriors! There is no travel involved in this aspect of the ministry. You just have to be willing to pray for the OASIS MINISTRY.
