SINGLES DINNER SEMINAR
7 P.M. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH
"FLYING SOLO: HOW TO SOAR ABOVE YOUR SINGLENESS"

You’re invited to join hundreds of Christian singles of all ages, from all denominations and from all walks of life from throughout the tri-state area for a delicious dinner, friendly fellowship and an interactive seminar featuring a Q and A session. The Lighthouse Players, a professional drama group, will present a 5 minute skit entitled "Gardening." The entire event will be enjoyed in our cozy cafe. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn, and you’ll make lots of new friends!

7 p.m. to 8 p.m. HOT ITALIAN DINNER. We’ve designed the entire dinner hour to be an easy, informal time of socializing. The catered menu features delicious baked ziti, mixed green salad, fresh baked bread and soda.

8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. INTERACTIVE SEMINAR.
TOPIC: "STOP WAITING, START LIVING...JUMPSTART YOUR LIFE RIGHT NOW!"
Keynote Speaker Pastor Jeff Barbieri is the lead pastor of Grace Christian Church, in NJ. This dynamic church was founded out of Pastor Jeff’s own brokenness and the healing he experienced through God’s grace. As a Christian single for the first 11 years of his Christian life Pastor Jeff knows first hand the struggles singles face and God’s answer.

TOPIC: "FINDING YOUR PASSION IN LIFE."
After becoming a widow Dr. Barbara Ann Yovino put her passion to the test by pressing in to earn her Ph.D. Driving forward to the goal set before her, she has continued to direct the Christian Hope Network which incorporates a crisis helpline, a support group, and a worldwide prayer ministry. She will share her inspiring testimony.
9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. DESSERT AND FELLOWSHIP. Singles will have the opportunity to meet each and every person at this event! The game room will be open for those who enjoy board games. If the weather permits fellowship will also be enjoyed outdoors.

Volunteer Opportunities:
SINGLES BRUNCH: Saturday, August 20th at 11 a.m. Come on out and enjoy a fun time of fellowship as we prepare our mailing for the September event. There are plenty of goodies to munch on and lots of new people to meet. All you have to do is stick labels on postcards. It will take no more than 2 hours. We will go out to lunch afterwards if you want to join us. This is a great way to make new friends.
CAFE SET-UP AND DECORATING-Friday, Sept. 23rd from 5 pm to 7:30 pm. A group of singles help put out chairs and set up the game room in the balconey. You can help decorate or help hang up the lights. It’s up to you! We always have a lot of fun as we meet new volunteers and get to know each other. There a plenty of ways to help out by putting tablecloths on tables, setting up candles, etc. We will find something that you enjoy!
SATURDAY, Sept. 24th. Would you like to be a greeter at the front door or write name tags as people arrive? Perhaps you would like to help serve food or be a greeter in the game room in the balcony? Or you would like to come early at 5 pm to pray with our prayer team or help set up the food in the cafe. If you are not sure what you would like to do just ask her and she will find something you will enjoy. Being a volunteer is a great way to make new friends. Singles are also invited to donate cake for the event if they would like to.
OASIS AFTER PARTY: Join a fun group of singles as they clean up after the event. It only takes about an hour. You’ll have a blast, and it goes so fast!
